We were there!

Elderly care 2024 in Essen.

From April 23rd to 25th we visited the Altenpflege 2024 trade fair in Essen. But we were not only there as visitors, we also brought many great fragrance samples with us.

Interested parties at the trade fair were able to visit us at stand G25 in hall 5 and find out more about the topic of "fragrance marketing in elderly care".

But what does scent marketing have to do with a geriatric care trade fair?

Imagine the following: You enter a nursing home somewhere in Germany around 3:45 p.m. in the afternoon and your first thought is: ... mhh, it smells delicious here.

Unusual, right?

Even if there is no fresh coffee steaming or delicious cake being baked, we give the courses the tempting hint of coffee and cake.

Why shouldn’t the common rooms or cafeteria smell of delicious cakes and fragrant coffee?

Under the motto "Scents make you happy" we presented ourselves for the first time at Altenpflege 2024 in Essen. We deliberately do not only rely on essential oils, because there are many areas in which it is simply a matter of creating a pleasant feel-good atmosphere or driving away unpleasant smells. Why shouldn't it smell of delicious cake and fragrant coffee in the common rooms or the cafeteria? For such areas we use food-safe aromas, as essential fragrance blends are not suitable here.

We have launched the "ReimaCare" brand especially for medical facilities in the healthcare and care sectors. Our goal is to create a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere for staff, visitors, patients and residents and to eliminate unpleasant odors using modern equipment technology and the use of exquisite fragrances.

ReimaCare makes work easier?

Working and living in social institutions such as retirement and nursing homes pose a daily challenge for nursing staff and residents. Nowhere else do people encounter such a wide variety of odor patterns, which unfortunately can also include unpleasant smells. But for this reason, it should definitely not smell of disinfectant, because a retirement or nursing home is the home of the residents and not a hospital.

Room fragrance and effective odor removal can not only have a positive effect on the physical health of employees and residents

Room fragrance and effective odor removal can not only have a positive impact on the physical health of employees and residents, but can also have a positive impact on their mental health and help reduce sick leave and costs.

Targeted room scenting is of great importance as it can maintain the quality of care, improve the overall ambience and reduce costs at the same time. The use of scents can reduce stress and sick leave in senior care homes, which is a supportive strategy to relieve the burden on nursing staff.
